Our charming barn conversion set in the rolling West Berkshire countryside was completed about 15 years ago, as a result it has lovely established gardens and blends in beautifully into the surrounding countryside. From the moment you step out the front gate you have a large variety of walks available to you. The garden itself also contains prettily stocked English cottage garden borders and several fruit trees. Tucked at the back of the garden is a large wooden-edge sandpit and children's play area. Finally the garden features a patio and bbq entertaining area with a large hardwood outdoor dining set (seats 8). The patio is nestled next to a calming pond and waterfall. The barn and gardens,over look fields to the front and a quaint courtyard to the rear with a lovely wall mounted fountain. The courtyard is the perfect place for taking breakfast in, in spring/summer and plotting your day's activities. The house itself has gorgeous beams, interesting nooks, vintage quarry tiles and oak floors. It also has solid wood doors with latch locks throughout, lovely fireplace and a comfortable, cream, country farmhouse family kitchen/diner with all modern integrated appliances, complete the comfortable country charm of this property . Upstairs the property has 3 large bedrooms (one ensuite) and with Sky Plus tv/dvd, there is also good size family bathroom. Downstairs is a large entry hall, lounge with a super open fireplace (the lounge also has Sky HD Plus, 40" 3D tv/dvd 3D Blueray), kitchen/diner (seating for 8), study/library, utility/boot room and cloakroom/(wc). Every room in the house has a great views both- upstairs and down. Plus, we are only 10 minutes drive from ''Downton Abbey'' or "Highclere Castle'' (íts real name and no it's not really in Yorkshire for those outside U.K).
