About our home

Our classic London Victorian terraced home has been thoughtfully renovated and extended over the last few years. We have plenty of space for the whole family, including a big family kitchen and open plan living and dining area. Our master bedroom has a super king sized bed and lovely sunny aspect overlooking our quiet street. Three further bedrooms, bunks for the kids, a lovely loft room with ensuite bathroom and a nursery, so even your youngest will have a place to sleep! We live in Barnes, once an ancient riverside village mentioned in the Doomsday book, but long since become a thriving and exclusive neighbourhood of London. The sense of history remains, with Tudor, Georgian and Victorian architecture, a classical high street complete with butcher, fishmonger and cheese shop and a gorgeous village pond and common. It's a very family friendly area with a host of great restaurants, cafes and classic pubs, many with direct views over the River Thames. Despite the village atmosphere, Barnes is on the mainline train route into Waterloo, so you can be in the centre of London in less than 30 minutes. To the south of Barnes is the beautiful expanse of Richmond Park, still with resident deer, and other local attractions of Kew Gardens and Hampton Court. We are in easy reach of several major roads out of London (M4, M3, A3) which means Windsor Castle, the south coast and other attractions are just a day trip away.
