About our home

We live in a 2003 built, 1000 sq/ft flat with a balcony facing directly onto the river Thames, opposite the Canary Wharf skyline and adjacent to the 02, tucked between a historic Victorian power station and terraced 18th century houses, including The Cutty Sark Pub which also has bay windows facing onto the river. Greenwich is a world heritage centre with a naval college where Nelson was laid to rest in the painted hall, on the site where Henry VIII had his tudor palace and Queen Elizabeth 1st was born. Royal Greenwich Park is our favourite park in London (we're a bit biased) and there are lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants to try out. These days we take the new fast ferry up to town, which takes 30 minutes and stops at The Tate Modern (Shakespeare's Globe nearby) The Tower of London & London Eye - a brilliant way to see London on the way in. There are two bathrooms, one ensuite with shower, the other shower and bath. The second bedroom is used as an office and has a Mac with guest access and has a very comfortable double sofa bed.
