About our home
SWIMMING POOL and TENNIS COURT! We are in a hamlet of 7 houses, set in 16 acres of natural land, between two villages with a farm shop, two village shops and a new wonderful gastropub.
We have a swimming pool which is air source heated and easily reaches 30 degrees when the weather is good, a tennis court, and a large beautiful garden, with beautiful views of the Cranbourne Chase.
Beaches are less than an hour away, Longleat is half an hour, Shaftesbury, our very pretty town, is 10 minutes away, with local farmers markets every week.
With ground source heating, the house is warm year round. There is a huge fire place to add to that on cosy winter evenings. Tables, chairs, a chiminea, and a gas barbeque outside provide for diniing al fresco.
Fresh eggs every morning from our chickens, some of them blue if you are lucky!
We are responsible parents of 2 children and 3 dogs. If you are in France and looking for a longer swap, we would like to bring the dogs too. I assure you that we would treat your home with respect and responsibility, as we do ours.
