Regency riverside house within half an hour of the Jurassic Coast. Set in 50 acres of land with 5 acres of extensive gardens and lawns. Very large kitchen / dining / living room, study, TV room and large drawing room and hall.

Two TVs, Sky TV, DVD and Wifi. Four double rooms with king-sized beds (one can be twin-bedded), two single rooms and four bathrooms.

Views of river from all rooms and all main downstairs rooms lead into gardens. Two dining terraces - one in walled garden overlooking mill race and old millhouse and one over river and rosegardens. Indoor pool in orangery opening onto garden and access from house. Sauna, shower room, etc. Row boat on lake for fishing and one on river.

Nearest village shop half a mile - petrol, newspaper, basics. Nearest town - six miles - historic abbey town of Sherborne, where Sir Walter Raleigh built the castle open to the public. Eleven miles from Dorchester (Thomas Hardy's Casterbridge). Many historic houses open to the public within easy driving distance. Many Good Food Guide pubs and restaurants within half an hour's drive. Beaches and cliff walks half an hour and three golf courses. Housekeeper, gardener and two very friendly cats.

Unsuitable for very small children owing to proximity to so much water.
