About our home

Our beautiful home is in the lovely neighbourhood of St Margerets, a few minutes walk from Richmond Town Centre or Twickenham Rugby Stadium. We have completed extensive renovations, and the property can easily sleep 12 or just as easily 2! We have a large family room which is great for entertaining and a big garden. We are close to the overground station of St Margarets or you can take the tube from Richmond into London. In the immediate area you might want to visit Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens, Ham House, Richmond Park and the gorgeous Petersham Nurseries. There are lots of lovely cafes, and some great local restaurants including The Glasshouse, The Bingham, A Cena to name a few. We love walking along the River Thames to Richmond or Teddington, and it is a very family friendly area. However, if you prefer the big city we are around 20 minutes from Waterloo and you can easily get in and out of London by tube, cab etc. We are also pretty close to Southfields for Wimbledon fans. We can recommend London restaurants, theatre etc. If you are interested in going the other way and exploring the Cotswolds, New Forest etc this is a great base. Forgot to say we are about 30 minutes from Heathrow........but we are not on the flight path!!
