About our home

Our mountain home is a 3,600 square foot five bedroom duplex on a quiet, street at the base of Aspen mountain.
The view is stunning.
The home's amenities include;

SLEEPING
Large master bedroom with vaulted wood ceiling, king size bed, ensuite bathroom with whirlpool tub and a large marble shower with sky lights, walk-in closet, large screen TV
Two main level bedrooms with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms and TVs
Lower level bunk room sleeping four with a walk-in closet and bathroom with whirlpool tub and walk-in marble shower as well as a den with a pull out bed and TV/DVD
All bedrooms have high count cotton linens with matching towels.
All bedrooms a very sound proof.
We have air conditioning but we never run it since Aspen nights are always comfortably cool.

ELECTRONICS
Each bedroom has a TV with the upper and lower floors having DVDs
The upper floor has a high quality Bose sound system with accompanying CD collection
All TV's are cable with 100's of channels.
Internet connected WiFi is complementary.

EATING
The kitchen is fully appointed with new stainless appliances including a 40 inch refrigerator, a dual dishwasher, and a four burner cook top/oven and microwave.
Granite counter tops are throughout.
Cook wear to entertain in a gourmet style.
Glass and plate-wear service for twelve.
The living room oak table seats eight
The balcony teak table seats eight with an outside gas heater for dining al-fresco.

GREAT ROOM
Two story stone, wood-burning fireplace with leather couches and chairs.
Open concept kitchen and living area with counter bar stools or the dining table.
Sliding glass doors access our wrap around south- facing balcony with stunning views of the ski slopes, outside dining and a ten person private hot tub.

OTHER HOME AMENITIES
Except for bedrooms,our floors are hardwood with oriental carpets.
Contemporary art is throughout the house.
The main floor has a full washer and dryer
Our two car oversized garage houses our Denali 4WD SUV that can be part of the trade in you can reciprocate.
The garage has ski/bike storage, an area to work on skis and a boot and glove dryer.
The walks, gardens and hot tub are maintained by outside help.

LOCATION
Our street is very quiet yet close to town.
We are three minutes walk to the grocery, the deli, and the liquor store.
We are four minutes walk to the base pf the gondola that runs summer and winter.

ASPEN
Aspen is known for its world class snow and skiing. Besides Aspen Mountain there is Aspen Highlands (12 minute drive), Buttermilk (15 minute drive) and Snowmass (20 minute drive). All are unique and exceptional ski experiences.
The public transport system is highly evolved and you can access all the ski mountains easily from town - for free!
The Aspen International Airport is a 15 minute drive and has regular service many times per day.
Aspen is a small town (8,000 residents) but is world renowned for dining with over 40 chef owned restaurants and bars.
The shopping is next to none including excellent galleries.
Aspen accesses some of the best high country hiking in North America, starting at our door or a short drive.
Biking and white water rafting are favorite adventures.
The wild life is near town and elk and bear are common sightings.
Aspen is home to the Aspen Music Festival where 1000 handpicked musicians study throughout the summer. On a typical day one can hear an opera class or take in a jazz performance or a string quartet on a downtown corner or in one of the five performing arts centers.
Then, of course, there is the night life......

We also have a 3,000 foot, 4 bedroom 3 bath home on the water on Marco Island, Florida. We can combine the two houses into your vacation to have a sea and mountain experience.
