Ft. Greene is the West Village of Brooklyn, a quaint artistic neighborhood with easy access to all subways into the city. Its historic park, a block away, has tennis courts and daily soccer games.
Sunny, professionally designed one bedroom. The living room has 3 large windows looking into our garden, the kitchen is newly renovated and the bedroom is quiet. On the block is an organic gourmet grocer (butcher and seafood counter) and the C train. Atlantic Ave, with all express trains, is 5 short blocks from our apt. S. Portland Ave. was voted "Most Beautiful Block in New York" by Time Out magazine. Wireless internet connection and cable TV.

The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), two blocks away, host an indie movie theater and acclaimed theater. Along Dekalb Ave you'll find a bustling restaurant and cafe scene. One friend called it "Sesame Street." The Brooklyn Flea is located just four blocks away, on Saturdays, and is the hub of social activity in Brooklyn plus they have amazing gourmet food.
