This amazing cedar log home is nestled on a private road at the top of a mountain. It was just completed last year, offers 5 bedrooms (sleeps 14 in beds), 3 full baths and has numerous sitting/entertainment areas. There is a large gourmet kitchen with Fisher Paykel appliances and an island that seats 4 so you can chat and drink wine with your friends while you cook. There's a large dining room, living room with a huge wood burning fireplace and a great gathering/reading area. Outside the living room there is a nice big deck with stunning mountain views, facing west so you get the sunsets. There's also a nice large loft on the second floor overlooking the main action. Windows and light everywhere...it's contemporary in feeling but not in a weird way. Downstairs, there is a large media room as well as full size pool table. In the warm months, enjoy the rear mahogany deck and fire pit for marshmallows and hot dogs.

You can hike or snow shoe right out the back door to a ridge line. There are XC ski trails all around and there is a full rec center with pools, tennis, basketball, a bar and a spring fed pond. This home is about 15 minutes from Waterville Valley, for great downhill and XC skiing, ice skating and tubing. In warm months you can mountain bike, hike unbelievable areas with rivers, waterfalls and panoramic views of the white mountains (you can snow shoe a lot of these areas too) and you can also take the lazy man's float down the Pemi River, which is loads of fun with a group. There are restaurants and shops in the Valley and near by. You are also about 30 minutes from Loon Mountain ski area and there are a bunch of other smaller ones around if you want to explore. You can zip line at Loon in the summer too!
