About our home

Our home is an energy efficient, straw bale home built on the slope of a wooded two -acre lot with a creek running through it. The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen, living /dining area and a lower level study. It is heated with passive solar and in-floor heating. In addition, there is a wood burning stove and a fireplace. There is also an attached studio apartment, which may be available separately for rent or possibly included in trade.. Internet service included. There are numerous sound systems, a washer/dryer and garden. Wildlife abounds, especially deer. In summer, the meadow is available for picnics and Bar B Q\'s. Bicycles are available.
