About our home

Our condo is located in Vail, Colorado which is America's most famous ski resort. There are many exciting ski runs for beginners as well as seasoned skiers. Snow boarding and other alpine activities are also popular. During the off months of skiing, Vail is a popular place for people who want to enjoy vacationing in the most gorgeous mountains in America. Vail is particularly appealing to us because we can go there to relax and enjoy all the activities that this area offers for all seasons.Vail is only a 2 hour drive from Denver which is a modern and lively city. You can also fly into Vail from Denver as well.

In summer and fall, the weather is so comfortable. Days are usually sunny and moderately warm, and nights are cool. We usually open our living room doors and listen to the roar of the oputside creek, while marveling at nature’s beauty in the forest below. Sometimes we bike, walk or run along the path at the river’s edge and soak in the ambiance of the mountain beauty. Outdoor activities offered are hiking, walking or biking on gorgeous mountain paths, indoor ice skating, trout stream fishing, golf, arts and crafts festivals, music and dance festivals at the famed Gerald Ford Amphitheater, farmer's markets, Alpine roller coaster, Alpine sled, shopping at noted boutiques, and dining at famous international restaurants. Night life is always fun with the many bars and cafe's catering to the international crowd.

Our condo has 3 bedrooms on 2 levels. The upper master bedroom is on the main floor and has its own bathroom. There is a TV across from the king bed and there is also much closet space to hang your clothes. Also, on the main floor is the kitchen, living room, and dining room. The kitchen has all modern appliances and has a large refrigerator along with a dishwasher and garbage disposal unit. Next to the kitchen is a big, comfortable living room that has a fireplace for nightly family gatherings. There is also a 46" flat screen TV with DVD player and stereo. You can open the large sliding glass doors from this area and listen to the roar of the creek below from the terrace overlooking the beautiful trees and pedestrian path below. The dining room is adjacent to the living room and you can enjoy your home cooked cuisine while checking out nature's beauty through the grand size windows surrounding the eating area. Downstairs are two bedrooms, one that has a queen bed and the other bedroom that has dual bunk beds. Both of these rooms are private, but share a bathroom and sink area. We have a one car garage to house your car or skis.

Next to our condo is a heated pool and jacuzzi. It is a great place to relax either in warm or cold weather. Bath towels are available in the clubhouse at no cost.


If you desire to use your computer or need internet service, we have free wi fi. There is also free bus transportation from our condo to the village center. Buses run every 10-15 minutes from a bus stop 2 blocks away.

Some of our family are fitness enthusiasts and enjoy the fully-equipped Cascade Fitness Center/Spa that is two blocks away. Weights, cardio training, yoga, Pilates, group exercise classes, massages, facials, and other activities are also offered. This club is modern and has great instructors, therapists, and facilities. It is available to any of our guests for a nominal fee.

During the winter, Vail is brimming with skiers. People from all over the world come here for some of the best ski runs you can find. We often ski and return home to relax in our outdoor jacuzzi. There is nothing better than to be in this winter wonderland, enjoying all the activities, restaurants and wonderful people.
