1926 — 2022

Following the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II on September 8th 2022, we wanted to acknowledge the deep loss that so many people are feeling. As a proudly British company, all of us at Love Home Swap are immensely saddened by Her Majesty’s passing, and our thoughts are with the Royal Family and all those who knew and loved her.

Having ruled for longer than any other Monarch in British history, the Queen devoted her 70-year reign to a life of service. The coming days will inevitably be sad for so many of us – but we also wanted to take a moment to reflect on the funny, warm and vivacious Monarch who brought so much joy to so many lives. As Head of the Armed Forces with more than 500 links to charities, professional bodies and public service organisations, she was much-loved by countless people across the Commonwealth.

If you’d like to join us in remembering just some of the happy moments witnessed and inspired by this incredible lady, then we’d invite you to spend some time reading about The Queen’s life and reign here.
