“We swapped with Caroline and Simon this August 2014 and had an amazing time in Antigua. The house is well presented, clean and very comfortable with air conditioning in all the rooms. There is plenty of space as we travelled with another family making 8 people in total. There were 2 dogs at the property, which we didn't need to care for, the larger one being a guard dog. It took a few days to get used to the dogs, but the children loved the large one and it added something special to the holiday for them. The location of the house is in a small village called Liberta, which is not touristy and has a small supermarket. It was great to feel part of the country and people, rather than staying in a resort. It was a short drive to the beaches from here and driving was easy and not stressful at all. The beaches and the surrounding countryside in Antigua were amazing and beautiful and we loved exploring while we were there. Some of the hi-lights of our trip in Antigua were the zip-wire rainforest adventure, Jaqui-O's restaurant on the beach (partied from lunch until sunset with a beautiful lunch, beach beds, cocktails, music and great welcoming service from all the staff), scuba diving, our friends getting married on Pigeon beach (what an amazing, beautiful day...a dream wedding!), the rum punch, the welcoming Catamaran Club for kid friendly, tasty pizzas and Caribbean food and the beaches, beaches, beaches!! Thanks Caroline and Simon for letting us stay in your home...I thick I can speak from us all here and say that this was the best holiday ever! ”
