About our home

Our home was built in 2003 has views of the Andean cordillera and sits on the Chimehuin River in Junin de los Andes, Argentina, Junin is a small town in the steppe just out side of the southern Andean forests. We are half an hour from the nearest Andean lake and within a 2-hour drive of several more. We are about an hour and a half from the Chapelco ski resort in San Martin de los Andes. The house is a simple house on a quarter hectare lot. It has 3 bedrooms, but there is a large open space that has a futon and can be used as an additional bedroom. Heating is with radiators . There is no air conditioning, but we never need it in the Patagonian climate.
