About our home

I work in the city in a hospital and looking for a house swap for later in the year (or a swap to arrange another time if the date doesn't suit). Our 2 bedroom home is in a quiet family neighbourhood, that is close to a park and quiet. Alberton is full of old homes. We are easy going and very thoughtful and respectful of the exchange. Also happy to care for animals and plants. Our home can sleep 3-4 people, and has a nice outdoor deck and spa area. The kitchen is recently updated..It can get hot in Adelaide and we have air con and beach nearby more importantly! For winter or romantic night with a Barossa valley red wine sit by the wood fire which heats whole house. It's a great spot and the beach is 10 minute drive and can access the Barossa valley via the port river expressway. Kangaroo island is 1.5hours drive to the ferry. If you are a footy fan we live in by Alberton oval (port power) and the train station for trips to the city. We are also willing to swap a small car. Have a dog that can be taken care of by a friend if you prefer. Our turtle does require occasional feeding in summer. Plenty for kids to do in our home as my 11 year old loves computer
Games and we have a tv you can set out the back deck if you need some space. Have a couple of bikes if you want to try out BMX track nearby (next to the lake corner of old port road and bower road), or ride along the beachfront or river Torrens in city. Bikes are allowed on the trains for free here during weekends. Anything else you would like to know about events happening in Adelaide just ask as it can get busy here in March with WOMAD, the fringe, Clipsal and Adelaide Cabernet festival !
