About our home

Our two story family home has a magnificent outlook across Lake Macquarie, Australias largest coastal saltwater lake.
Walk through the front gate to be lured by a sparkling salt water pool and private court yard. Open the large, glass front door and be entranced by our wonderful view. Come inside and relax in the open plan style living-lounge-dining room, adjoining a fully equipped kitchen. A wander down the yard, you will have easy access to the water from the private jetty or slipway. Bring your fishing rod to try your luck. Hire a kayak or sup from a local company or completely relax and watch the boats go past. Watch the sun or full moon rise, as you sip your morning coffee or evening drink from the verandah or waters edge. Or cool off in the inground pool. Upstairs are five bedrooms (might not all be available), all with views of lake or pool, the main with an ensuite, plus an extra full bathroom. Sorry but our home not suitable for young children.
Our house is on the western side of the lake. This is a peaceful, quiet area but within 30-45 minutes drive you can find yourself in the city of Newcastle, swimming at beautiful beaches, walking or mtb riding in the Watagan Forest Mountains, or drinking top quality wine in the Hunter Valley Vineyards. We are less than 2 hours north of Sydney. 10 minutes to a train station and on a bus route. But a vehicle would be handy.
Lake Macquarie is known for sailing, fishing, kayaking, rowing, water skiing and swimming. Within a few kilometres is the village of Wangi Wangi, where you can get supplies or dine out.
See tourist link http://www.lakemacquarie.com/ http://www.visitlakemac.com.au/ for local information.

Swaps that are simultaneous, non-simultaneous and Points are welcome.

Please note, for recent personal reasons only three bedrooms of our five bedroom home are currently available (bedding arrangements: one queen, two singles and a double bed)
