About our home

Our unique Mid Century A-frame combines a rural location with a few minutes walk to the beach, plus a short bus/car ride to bustle of Manly, from where you can take the ferry into Sydney CBD in 20 minutes. The stunning Spit to Manly coastal walk is accessible from the end of our driveway. The beautiful sheltered harbour cove Reef Beach is 200m walk away. From here you can snorkel, swim in the calm, clear water and watch the activity on the harbour and the bustle of Manly.

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
There are many great restaurants in Manly. Our favourites are Hugos on Manly Wharf and the funky modern Mexican Chicabonita.
Cool bars
Plenty of those too. Donny's bar is great.
Cozy cafés
Spoilt for choice in Manly - The Boathouse on Shelly Beach is gorgeous and great for lunch too.
Retail therapy
Great shops in Manly. Fantastic beach wear on the Corso. Tigerlily is a favourite. Then Mr & Mrs Jones, McClean & Page and Bow & Arrow are great boutiques. The Manly markets are great fun too.
Bit of culture
Get on the ferry to Circular Quay to Opera House and MCA (Modern Art Gallery) or Gallery of NSW in the Botanic Gardens. Sydney Theatre Company and Sydney Dance Company just under the Harbour Bridge on Hickson Road offer great performances too.
Walks in the park
We are situated right on the National Park. The coastal walk from Manly to the Spit is breathtaking.
Spot of exercise
Can do Yoga combined with paddle boarding very close to us.
Day tripping
The Northern Beaches up the coast are worth a trip. Palm Beach and Whale Beach are truly stunning surf beaches. Freshwater Beach only 20 mins away is our favourite beach. More of a cove and has great waves but not too big so perfect for smaller kids. Great cafes there too.
