About our home

We built Bush Haven in 2005 as our country retreat. It's on the only main road through the Wombat State Forest, just out of the village of Blackwood. There is a hotel, a restaurant and mineral water available in the village. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away in Trentham. This is a delightful, peaceful part of the world!

Features

More about us

  1. Empty nest couple, rapidly approaching grey nomad stage of life.

  2. Keith is a semi-retired consultant, trainer and sessional lecturer; Marilyn has recently retired from nursing.

  3. Our listed house is our Bush Haven, built in 2005 for relaxing and sharing the beautiful Australian bush with others. This has also now become our primary home.
