About our home

Come enjoy a holiday in peaceful Bicton. This 2 story has modern amenities, double lockup carport & BBQ on the balcony ideal for entertaining. 1 min walk to the Swan River, 5 min walk to Pt Walter Reserve which includes Walters cafe, tennis courts, playground and golf course & 10 min drive to the center of Fremantle.
While we are 3 minutes away from the river, we also provide pushbikes so you can ride around the reserve and river. In addition, we also provide kayaks and carriers so its easy to take them down to the river.
Fremantle is a port city known for its maritime history, Victorian architecture and remnants from Australia's days as a British penal colony. In Fremantle, there are numerous places of interest to visit. These includes the Fremantle prison, the roundhouse (also a prison), maritime museum, arts centre, army museum, markets and of course is the cafe strip and fantastic restaurants and beaches nearby. The ferry to Rottnest Island, 18 kilometres west of Fremantle is accessible from the B-shed in Fremantle, which is only 8 minutes from Crewe. Visitors to this part of Australia will not be disappointed with the area or house.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 4 (our son is aged 13 and our daughter is 19 but living at University) who live most of the year in Asia where we work in the development and education sector. Since Covid we have returned to Perth..

  2. When we are in Perth we enjoy walking along the river to Bicton Baths and through the magic forest (reserve) to Point Walter Cafe and sitting on the balcony entertaining friends or just watching the world go by..

  3. The house is built on the land owned previously by my grandparents. My grandad bought the block and built the original house after the war. He and his my grandmother were devoted to each other and every evening would have a drink on their balcony watching the sun go down. This was their special time together. We have continued this routine and hope you will too. .
