About our home

Unfortunately we have a swap with another site in 2017 and then placing our house on the market and building another. We will not be able to swap again until around April 2018.

Summer in Tasmania is a very popular time for visitors for the many activities here such as Taste of Tasmania, Sydney - Hobart yacht race, Wooden Boat festival and many more but winter also provides many activities in and around Hobart. Although it may be a little cold with possibly snow on Mt Wellington it is still an invigorating time to be out and about just needing an extra layer of clothing. Enjoy many sunny days.

Our home is a brick and tile 2 storey residence overlooking the mouth of the Derwent River 20 minutes south of the Hobart CBD. Comprises 3 bedrooms main with ensuite & spa, double garage with internal access and direct access from living area to patio and rear garden . Our location is one of the fastest growing areas of Tasmania.

We are close to 2 x 18 hole golf courses, extensive sports centre, popular beaches and the gateway to wilderness areas. Main events during Christmas/New Year period are the Sydney to Hobart yacht race finish, Taste of Tasmania and many other waterfront and other popular events. The well known MONA art gallery is approximately 30 minutes north and there are many wineries within a radius of 1 hour from our home. Hobart during January/February period is a very popular destination for many interstate and overseas visitors.

We look forward to hearing from interested people.
