About our home

We have just renovated this 1920's house back to the original. It is a lovely, warm relaxing home with a newly renovated garden. You will delight in our lounge reading room with its open fire. A truly relaxing home just 5 minutes from tram and train into Melbourne. We love it and with its beautiful colours it is warm and inviting and the beds!! To sleep perchance to dream!
Ideal home for two couples who can be by themselves at times both inside and outside. Our sports car would be available for the people who love to drive with air in your hair.

We have a beach house on Phillip Island which also would be available ( 1 hours drive) we go there for peace and tranquility and could be part of any house swap. It is a beautiful island and home for the world famous fairy penguins and our house overlooks the southern ocean. A great addition to your swap or even by itself. Where is it?

Box Hill is a cosmopolitan place 20 minutes from Melbourne. With many nationalities living here it is a hive of activity with over 30 restaurants within walking distance from our house. Great shopping centre particularly the fruit and vegetable market. Wide open spaces and lovely walks even though we are in the middle of suburbia. You will love its broad streets treed like a country town in the UK or France. An what about the trams - maybe your only chance to ever ride on one! Only five minutes max to nearest tram to Melbourne.
