Our stunning newly renovated 2 storey Edwardian home has 5 bedrooms, 3 living areas and 3 bathrooms. Downstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe, a parents sitting area, family bathroom and two extra bedrooms. In addition, a huge family room opens on to a large deck, with built-in barbeque and large swimming pool. The kitchen has induction hotplates and all the latest appliances. Upstairs there is another sitting room, two bedrooms and third bathroom. The house has air-conditioning and heating throughout.

The backyard has a beautiful garden, with plum tree, enormous mulberry tree and fig tree. In the front yard there is a formal rose garden and off-street parking for two cars.

Melbourne is a lively and cosmopolitan city with great food, creative arts and beaches and is regularly voted as one of the world's most liveable cities.

Our luxurious family home is located in Brighton; Melbourne's most prestigious bayside suburb. Brighton is 10 kms south east from Melbourne's CBD and has the city's most beautiful bayside beaches. A cycle path follows the coast of the bay.

Elwood beach is only a 600m metre walk from our home and the world famous Brighton bathing boxes are another 1.5 kms along the bay. Elsternwick Park is 50 metres from the front door and Gardenvale train station is an 800m walk. Trains from Gardenvale take 15mins to reach Flinders St station in the city. Chapel St, Prahran, is famous for its eclectic shopping and nightlife and is only a 5 minute train ride .
The Church St shopping district with its beautiful boutiques, excellent cafes, restaurants, local cinema as well as all essential services is only 2.5kms from our home.

Within 1 hrs drive see - Sovereign Hill/Ballarat Goldfields - Kangaroos, koalas and platypus etc in their natural habitat, or - visit Yarra Valley vineyards. Or after 1.5hrs drive - enjoy our world famous beaches along the Great Ocean Rd or surf at Bell’s Beach - explore Phillip Island 500cc Grand Prix Racetrack and see the Penguin Parade.

My husband and I are professors at the University of Melbourne and we have two children ages 13 and 15.
