About our home

Our home is a single storey brick house in a wide, quiet, dead-end street with sea at the end of the road.
Our in-ground solar heated salt water pool is surrounded by paved patios and tropical gardens. There is a separate above ground, under cover heated therapeutic spa/jacuzzi. A gazebo completes the picture in the corner of the garden. Low voltage garden lights surround pool.

There is a garden coffee nook by front entrance that is awash with sun in the mornings.
We have 3 bedrooms with built in robes, the master bedroom has a new king size bed, is fully ensuited and is totally private with direct access to the pool area. There is a new queen bed in the second bedroom that overlooks the garden. Our computer has a high speed internet connection . A painting studio is of the kitchen.

Our lounge has high ceilings and skylights, a new 106cm plasma digital TV and a leather lounge suite. DVDs, VCRs and stereo are also included in all bedrooms. There is a reading room adjoining the lounge, and a glassed breakfast room overlooking the pool. Original artwork enhances all rooms

Our home is smoke free & pet free. Pool maintenance is done by a contractor. Lawns are mowed and edged by our gardener and there is an automatic garden watering system.

Our 2 petrol automatic cars – 2005 Mitsubishi Colt, and 2003 Ford Fairmont are available to you and are kept in a double lock-up electronic roll a door garage.

More about us

  1. We are Rosemary and Robert – retired - in our early 60’s. Robert is a retired Engineer and Naval Architect and was a GP Motor Cycle rider in his younger days, he is now a keen fisherman. Rosemary is a retired Computer systems analyst, and now likes to call herself an artist! We are both English born but have been in Australia for over 40 years on and off.

We enjoy traveling, primarily having visited countries in the pacific rim in the last few years. We now want to expand to UK and Europe. We have recently moved from coastal NSW to Queensland where we love the warmth and tropical atmosphere.

It would be our pleasure to leave you a starter pack of groceries and an extensive ‘Welcome’ package of relevant information to assist you to settle in, and our DVDs and CDs would be available for your enjoyment .

Dates flexible but we would like to visit between April & September 2006.
