About our home

A spacious low-set "Queenslander". Four bedrooms (1 king, 2 single), 2 bathrooms plus a powder room accessible from the pool, formal living, dining and a further 2 casual living rooms. Study with full broadband internet access. Lovely central kitchen and a great rear deck overlooking the pool. Situated on a large, fully fenced block on a quiet residential street, there is lots of room for the kids to play - there's even a sandpit for the little ones. Enjoy a dip in the large salt water pool. Great park at the end of the street, 15 minute walk along quiet pathways to the river, and other large parks and botanical gardens within a short drive.

Enjoy peaches, limes, mandarins and other fruit straight from the organic garden.

2 minute walk to local shops (hairdressers, butcher and deli, grocer, newsagent, post office and fantastic bakery) plus some lovely local restaurants. Boutique arthouse cinema a 15 min walk or 2 min drive. Doctor and dentist around the corner in case of last minute emergencies.

Major supermarkets are located in central Sherwood (2 min drive or 12 min walk) or Corinda (4 min drive) and there is easy access (approx 8 mins) to Indooroopilly Shopping Town, which has all the major stores and over 260 stores and boutiques.

Sherwood is a quiet residential suburb roughly 8km from Brisbane’s CBD with excellent public transport options (train within 10 min walk, bus within 3 min walk from our home). Lovely local shops and some great restaurants.
