About our home

When people enter my house, they often describe it as giving them a warm hug. My bright and airy two storey townhouse has recently undergone a lovely refurbishment. Everything is freshly painted and has been decorated in a stylish, relaxing and welcoming manner. The property has three bedrooms upstairs (2 x Double Beds, 1 x Queen Bed) with main bathroom and an ensuite the to the master bedroom. All rooms have ceilings fans, and built in wardrobes and the the master is air-conditioned. Downstairs is an open plan lounge, dining (seats 8) and kitchen area with downstairs powder room and has a ceiling fan and air-conditioning. The lounge opens onto an inviting outside patio and courtyard with a separate lounge area and another dining area with BBQ.

Neighbourhood: The property is only 8 km to the city centre with easy access by bus or train. An easy 5 minute walk away is the village of Nundah which has an array of shops including a supermarket, a good variety of restaurants (Indian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Thai) and coffee shops. There are also two large shopping centres near by. One is a 15 minute walk, the other larger centre is a 7 minute drive.

Transport: The train station is also located at the end of the village for easy access into town. I can also arrange for you to use my vehicle during your visit. It is a Honda Accord Euro.

Day tripping
Brisbane is the capital of the sunshine state of Queensland, the home of the Great Barrier Reef. It is perfectly located with two of the most stunning beaches in the world only an hours drive north (Sunshine Coast www.visitsunshinecoast.com) or the Gold Coast, with its many Theme Parks an hours drive south (www.visitgoldcoast.com). The hinterland surrounding both of these areas are also quite beautiful with quaint villages, lovely restaurants, wineries, markets and local art and craft galleries. Brisbane is known as the River City, its CBD borders the Brisbane River which navigates itself around the many suburbs north and south. A ferry ride on one of our Fast Cats is an absolute must and the cheapest day trip you will have in Brisbane. Off the coast of Brisbane, are a couple of beautiful islands including Tangalooma where you can feed the wild dolphins and swim in crystal clear water.
