About our home

Main river, resort style luxury living. Our home represents the best that Australia's favourite holiday destination has to offer. Close to beaches, fun/theme parks, Oz animal parks, shopping centres and great restaurants of various international cuisines. Half hour drive to mountains, waterfalls and rain forests.

Our home is on a main (Nerang) river point position with views forever. Fishing and crabbing from the private jetty, along with sightings of dolphins, black swans and a myriad of other bird life at all times.

A luxury two storey home with two bedrooms upstairs both with with en-suites. Two further bedrooms downstairs share a family bathroom with separate shower & bath, toilet and basin areas allowing simultaneous but private use.

Superb outdoor area for year round meals, entertaining, barbequing and contemplation - easy access to the pool. Enjoy the views of the river by day and mood lit pool and gardens by night - this is real resort style living.

Fully equipped kitchen with Miele appliances including dishwasher, coffee pod machine, ice maker two door fridge, rice cooker. Coffee pods, tea, milk and pantry items supplied.

Relax by the 65 inch ((165 cm) TV with Netflix in the lounge. Another Smart TV is in the family area. Wireless internet throughout. Lounge and family rooms have CD/DVD players, USB music compatibility and there is a Bose iPhone dock in the family area.

Very secure position in a cul de sac with security gates, alarm system, Crimsafe fly screens and intercom to the front gate.

Walking distance to coffee shop, corner store, restaurant and hair dresser. Close to large supermarkets - Coles & Woolworths have home delivery to this area.

Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach offer holiday activities, shopping and are alive at night with many restaurants, clubs and activities.

Also nearby are the Botanical Gardens, numerous golf courses, the Gold Coast racecourse, movies, Skilled /Cbus Stadium (home of the Gold Coast Titans Rugby League team), Metricon Stadium (home of the GC Suns - Aussie Rules football) and The Arts Centre Cultural Complex.

When not at the Commonwealth Games you can visit Byron Bay, The Gold Coast Hinterland with Natural Bridge, Mount Tambourine and it's Skywalk etc., take bush walks about the enormous scenic rim caldera, enjoy Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary where you can pat kangaroos with their pouch living joeys and behold the gigantic salt water crocodiles among many other native animals. Brisbane and The Sunshine Coast with Noosa Heads, the spectacular and unique Glasshouse mountains and Steve Irwin 's Australia Zoo are within an easy driving distance. Locally, the theme parks such as Sea World, Dreamworld, Movie World, Outback Spectacular and Wet'n'Wild are all close as you would expect in this holiday playground. Brochures are available for your perusal.

Australia's beaches are legendary and there are many miles of long beaches with soft white sand and beautiful warm surf. Only 10 minutes drive away. You can learn to surf, paddleboard, sail, dive etc etc.

Our winter climate is also legendary with usual clear blue skies and average temperatures maxing at 27C during the day from a minimum 17C at night.

With all the wildlife abounding outside we regret there are no parties, no hen's or buck's nights, no sporting groups, no smoking, no pets allowed. Please be considerate of our lovely neighbours by minimising noise after 10 pm - you can live life to the full here so may well be looking for an early night anyway!

  3. We love our home and it's subtropical resort style feel. It is very comfortable and having such a wonderful climate do tend to live outdoors most of the year. we live in Australia's premier holiday destination so very many and varied activities and entertainment abound.
