About Bundeena:

The Royal National Park
This historic national park is Australia's oldest and is National Heritage Listed and is easily accessible by car or the ferry from Cronulla to Bundeena. With more than 100 km of walking trails for you to enjoy, take in the magnificent cliff-top views from the 26 km Coast Track or you can take the Forest Island loop walk through cool valleys thick with rainforest.

About Bundeena

Just an hour’s drive from the centre of Sydney, Bundeena is a pretty seaside village, just across the Port Hacking River from Cronulla, Sydney's southernmost beach. Bundeena is surrounded by water – the Port Hacking River and beaches such as wide-open Jibbon or broad sand flats at nearby Maianbar, and the ideal spot for a day trip.
Bundeena's idyllic waters are perfect for fishing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Enjoy an easy bushwalk along the scenic trails in Royal National Park, bordering Bundeena. The park is blessed with a handful of lovely beaches backed by bushland. Wattamolla, Garie and Burning Palms are amongst the most beautiful beaches in Australia.
Sydney Coast Walks can guide your hiking and camping adventures through the national park while Bundeena Kayaks offer guided or unguided tours by kayak or stand up paddleboard, and you can learn to kayak. You can also hike to the tip of the spectacular Jibbon Headland, with views of the sparkling blue waters and sandstone cliffs below. Aboriginal rock engravings made by Dharawal people, can also be found here.
Catch the ferry from Cronulla on the first Sunday of the month to discover the local art trail, when local artists and artisans open their studio doors to the public for a rare glimpse into their working lives and creative journeys. There are more than 20 artists waiting to welcome you into their studios for a look inside the creative process. Artworks on show and for sale include paintings, drawings, printmaking, wood carving, decorative and functional pottery, glassware and jewellery.
