About our home

This home was built in 2000, in a very quite neighborhood at the end of a cul de sac on the Fraser Coast,
famous for Fraser Island (being the largest sand island in the world) which contains the only pure bred wild Dingos left in the whole of Australia, on our doorstep.
This is where the whales play, along with their babies in our pristine shallow waters for a few months of every year.
The home features 4 bedrooms, though one is used for a study & another for storage.
The other two bedrooms each have their own en suites.
Our climate is very tropical & the winters are quite mild with daytime average temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius. In the summer it can be very sultry & humid with temperatures up in the mid 30s Celsius.
Like most Australians, a majority of life & time is spent outdoors, hence our easy care gardens (mostly palms) & large covered patio, makes for comfortable daily living.
Large sliding doors lead out onto the patio from the tiled dining/bar room, the family room & carpeted main bedroom, all wheelchair accessible.
Hervey Bay is positioned in South East Queensland & about a four hour drive south to the city of Brisbane.
A tilt train travels both north & south from Mayborough, which is about 37 kilometers drive from the bay, to places such as Mackay, Cairns, Port Douglas, Townsville etc.
