This unit is within 6 minutes walking distance from the very popular Kings Beach (the area’s main swimming and surf beach). Most beaches are patrolled. Five minutes walk along the walkway is the renowned haven for surfers - Happy Valley and Kite-surfers galore - Bulcock Beach, Caloundra. The council provides a perfect wet play area (and enclosed play swings for kids) in addition to the free saltwater swimming pool - right on the beach - open every alternate day.
This holiday unit with pool (# 1) has views to Moreton Island; 'The Glasshouse Mountains' and Bribie Island.
The unit comprises of a Queen size Bed with en suite (shower, basin and toilet); and two other bedrooms each with a pair of single beds. Both of these bedrooms lead out to a ground-paved courtyard with BBQ facilities. The second bathroom has a bath tub, shower and laundry facilities. (To ensure perfect privacy, cleaning is completed only at the completion of a stay).
There are many restaurants dotted throughout the main streets and along the beach side, all within walking distance (approximately 10 minutes). Do visit the Italian Ice cream shop in the main street. It has won many awards at the famous EKKA - The 10 day Brisbane Exhibition - the EKKA -is on every August!

There are many things to do once one is based in Caloundra apart from 'Learning to surf' or enjoying the white sands and sunsets. In the 'village' and near the local library there are many art galleries for those interested. Early morning walks lead north along the coast to both Moffat Beach , which sports a great art gallery and Bulcock Beach, or south-west along the boardwalk. Free BBQ's dot the beachside but check-in early if you wish to dine under the Southern Cross.
Cafes, restaurants and the movie theater are all close at hand.
However, should you venture further afield, the brochures in the foyer will advise the attractions of the region. Some of the most popular excursions include a trip to AUSTRALIA ZOO, Montville & Melany mountain villages, Eumundi Local Market (be early!); Dicky Beach's shipwreck (one beach further than Moffet); Golden Beach for Kite Surfing and Dinghy hire and Fishing; Aussie World and the Ettamogah Pub. Along the coastline is a plethora of seaside settlements so take a trip to the Sunshine Plaza then venture onto Mooloolabah, Alexandra Headlands, Sunshine Beach to arrive at Noosa – the hub of fashion, culinary arts, cultural creativity, gallery gloss and beach bonanza. This is the SUNSHINE COAST. Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is but one hour south by car, train or bus. The airport bus takes about 45 minutes from the BRISBANE AIRPORT.
