A sunny rooftop deck with breath-taking city and harbour views is the perfect place for a BBQ or a glass of wine at sunset. All the attractions of Sydney city - the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, produce markets and restaurant streets are just a short walk or bus trip away - the bus leaves every 5 minutes from outside our front door. Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our apartment block is located directly across the road from the historic University of Sydney. The famous eat streets of Newtown and Glebe are only a few minute's walk away, boasting a dizzying array of Italian, French, Asian, seafood, and quaint pub eateries - as well as any number of artisan bread bakeries, patisseries, delis, coffee shops and tea houses. Australians love their coffee - the streets are dotted with cozy cafes, and everyone has their favorite.

The nearby harbour is Sydney's playground, and is great for sailing (AJ used to race), rowing (Keryn rows with a local club), kayaking and many other water sports. And of course Sydney's famous beaches are a short drive or ferry trip away - the popular surfing beaches such as Bondi, as well as quieter aquatic reserves for diving and snorkeling. There are even secret harbor beaches that are accessible only by water that we enjoy kayaking to for a picnic. If you tell us what some of your interests are, we can leave you a map listing places you might enjoy to really get a local experience of Sydney.
