About our home
One bedroom in main house along with two living area's & kitchen plus one bathroom/laundry. Five mts from main house is 1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 bathroom studio flat. Our house was built in the1880's along with many similar houses of its type in inner melbourne. The house was modernised about 4 years ago with a new kitchen and bathroom and although small in dimensions( block 5 mts wide by 30mts long) the living conditions accommodate 4 people really well in its separate structures.

Inner city residential area, 150 mts from shopping street & public transport(tram) which gives access to Melbourne c.b.d only 3 km away. The immediate area offers many restaurants and options for entertainment. Melbourne university is only 2 km away. Public transport (tram no. 96 ) runs along a parallel street some 100 mt away and this tram route takes you passed the melbourne museum and into the CBD in approx 12min. Or if you prefer to walk ,it takes 35 min to walk into the heart of melbourne. Carlton is considered to be quite a fashionable place to live , and has many places to eat and drink within its boundaries. Although the house is close to everything you need or want, it is still an extremely quiet and relaxed place to live
