About our home

Situated in Carlton North, Melbourne, the house itself is a double storey, individually refurbished, semi-detached 1880 cottage.
A beautifully presented hideaway with two living areas, gas log fire, artworks, large double bedroom, study with double fold-out divan bed - (3rd person sleep), bathroom, kitchen, laundry, separate powder room. Pretty courtyard with pond and barbecue. A very warm and inviting house, a home away from home.

Trendy neighbourhood,3 km from Melbourne city centre. Trams/ buses continually run from either end of our laneway into Melbourne providing connections to the Arts Centre, Recital Centre, Museums, Galleries.
Melbourne is a sporting mecca all year round featuring Grand Slam Tennis, Formula 1 Grand Prix, Rugby, Horse Racing, etc. Melbourne's cultural and sporting facilities are impeccable.
Carlton North maintains a village atmosphere, with wide middle plantation roads and Victorian-era heritage areas. Walk to shops and prestigious café precincts of Lygon Street and Brunswick.
University of Melbourne, Melbourne Exhibition Buildings, Melbourne Zoo and beautiful public gardens are close by, as are bike tracks which connect the immediate area to all of Melbourne scenic points.
