3-level townhouse in historic 1877 Victorian building. High ceilings, parquet floors, hotel linen and opulent furnishings.
For its central South Melbourne location, 1877 Townhouse feels more like a refined home than a city pad. One suburb away from inner city Melbourne is a beautiful house with high ceilings, soft lighting, parquet flooring, leather sofas, comfy beds and snuggly textiles. Should you wish to plunge back into the metropolis, it’s all there – the shopping, the museums, the South Melbourne market and Etihad Stadium. And so too are gentler pleasures, a walk in along the beach, a coffee at one of Bridport Streets famous cafes, an afternoon enjoy Albert Park lake.
The first floor is home to the main living room that has access to the side decking. In the dining area a table for 8 overlooks the kitchen, a perfect spot to sit and chat whilst you (or the other) cook up a storm!
Upstairs is a real treat, with a large master suite (with ensuite) on one side of the staircase, and the second bedroom with ensuite on the other side.
Downstairs is home to the second living area (with apple TV), the third bedroom and a separate powder room and shower room.
This is a vacation home, so when staying at 1877 Townhouse, you can expect to move in and find everything you will need ready and waiting for you. Kitchen is fully appointed with all the equipment you would need. High-quality entertainment systems with DVD and CD library, cable TV. Selection of books and magazines.

ABOUT US AND WHERE WE LIKE TO TRAVEL TO
We are new to home swapping, but are very experienced as renting our homes out via AirBNB and enjoy very good reviews.
We are looking to travel to the Italy, France and Israel in the second half of 2017.
We also love Australian destinations such as Byron Bay, Noosa, Tropical Nth Qld, Island destinations, Margaret River etc.
Open to points bookings or both non-simultaneous/simultaneous swapping for similar standard properties.
This home is a holiday home which we usually rent out on AirBNB and as such we are usually quite flexible with dates. As long as the dates aren't high season (listed below) as we rent the house out over these times.
There will generally be more chance of a swap from June until September as this is our lowest season.
The busier times are from October through to March, and so there is less chance of a swap during this time.
