About our home

We offer an older but well-kept cottage with direct access to the beach through a large garden. On the upper level the house has a spacious and comfortable living room, well-equipped open kitchen, and a deck with lovely garden views and ocean glimpses. The house is comfortable for four adults, and can in total sleep six people. The main bedroom has a king size bed and an outdoor terrace. The second bedroom has a single bed, and a second bed can be added. The lower level is reached by stairs from the deck, and also has a separate entrance to the side. It is a self-contained suite with two single beds, bathroom, kitchenette and a sitting area opening on to a large entertaining terrace with gas barbecue. Below the terrace, a sub-tropical garden leads to a gate opening directly to the the park and beach. The property is very peaceful with a relaxed seaside style.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Clovelly is a friendly beachside community, 10 kilometres from the centre of Sydney. The beach itself is very protected and safe, and also has fine snorkelling. The park directly behind the house has a children's playground and there are good parks and walks nearby. The house is situated halfway along the famous Bondi to Coogee coast walk, with Bronte and Coogee beaches ten minutes north or south, and other surf beaches a longer stroll along the cliff-top path. Good cafés are within easy walking distance, and excellent restaurants a longer walk or short drive away. Great shopping is 20 minutes by frequent buses to central Sydney, Paddington or Westfield Bondi Junction. Sydney offers a huge range of attractions for international visitors, and excellent dining at all price points.
