About our home

Beautiful comfy home, decorated with handmade quilts and travel photos I have taken all over the globe, situated near the magnificent mighty Murray River, Australia's greatest waterway, close to amenities, golfing, cycling tracks. Quiet neighborhood, seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living.
Cobram Barooga is situated in the heart of Victoria’s ‘Food Bowl’, and is home to some of the most picturesque sections of the mighty Murray River, Australia’s greatest inland waterway.
Visitors are captivated by the lifestyle, with wide sandy river beaches, towering gums and native bushland which blend together to create this unique holiday destination.
Golfers have long been challenged on the Cobram Barooga Golf Course, and the 36 holes on the Old and West courses keep visitors coming back again and again. Many other award winning golf courses are an easy drive away.
Australia’s largest inland beach, Thompson’s Beach, is easily accessible from the center of town and is a great spot to soak up the tranquility of the river, have a BBQ or picnic, and head out from here along the kilometres of walking trails along the river and through the bush where we regularly see kangaroos and koalas..
Cobram Barooga is the perfect place to base a tour of the region’s Farm Gate Trail with fresh locally grown produce and condiments, – golfers, anglers, campers, swimmers, kayakers and water skiers all come to enjoy this piece of paradise. Discover the region using bikes, boats and canoes, take a trip on the paddlesteamer or simply stroll through the bush and drop in a fishing line.
