Our home is a sun-lit two storey four bedroom beach house with ocean views, The home is open plan with the main living area on the ground floor - including lounge, kitchen/dining area, toilet and study nook with internet access.
A bi fold door opens up the back of the home to a large sunny outdoor entertaining space. The backyard is child friendly with a grassed lawn and trampoline. We also have a solar heated in ground swimming pool, outdoor shower and entertaining cabana.
On the second floor is the master bedroom with ocean views, queen-size bed, WIR and ensuite bathroom. There is also three smaller rooms with single beds and a full size bathroom with shower and large bath tub.
There is a large double lock up garage with internal access, laundry, shower and toilet. Additional features are access to a VW station wagon car, surfboards, golf clubs and bikes and a weekly cleaning service.The Northern Beaches run from bustling Manly Beach (7 min drive sth) northward to reclusive Palm Beach (20 min drive north), used as the filming location for Home and Away’s ‘Summer Bay’. Set on a low-lying peninsula, bound by Pittwater Inlet to the west, the Tasman Sea to the east and Broken Bay to the north, Palm Beach is an exotic getaway from the city.
Our home is in Collaroy Plateau a family friendly beach suburb on Sydney's Northern Beaches. A 10 min walk down the hill or a 2 min drive is Collaroy beach, Long Reef Golf Course with it's stunning ocean views, Collaroy tennis courts, restaurant's, bars and night life.
Three doors up from our home is The friendly and relaxed Cafe "Persia Belle" serving great coffee and food, there is also a bus stop on the corner. There are also local shops and small supermarket three streets away.
A short 7 min drive south with have you at well known Manly with great bars, restaurants and Manly Wharf with the ferry terminal with access to the city across Sydney's iconic and stunning harbour.
Sydney city celebrates Summer with many festivals, fantastic outdoor dinning and a spectacular fire works display on New Years Eve.
One of our favourite destination is Taronga Zoo, we frequent the zoo on a Sunday morning and spend the morning walking around with the fabulous city backdrop always there.
A 5 minute drive to Narrabeen lakes and you can enjoy a nature walk/ride around a 10 kilometre specific track or take a dip in the lake, enjoy a paddle board/kayak around the lake.
