About our home

Our home is a blend of 60s suburbia and eclectic, unpretentious cool.
Polished concrete and timber floors throughout the living spaces and quiet carpet in the bedrooms.
Tree top views and a barbecue on the elevated, jarrah deck out front.
Play equipment (swing, slide, trampoline, sandpit etc) in the rear garden with reticulated lawn.
You will see sustainability in action with grey water systems, solar panels, espaliered fruit trees, terraced vegetable beds and native plants throughout the front and rear yards. Filtered water.
Public transport direct across the road to Fremantle and Perth city. 10 mins drive direct to wonderful South Beach and all that Fremantle has to offer.
Walk to grocery store/supermarket, library, playgrounds and Bibra Lake for recreation- cycling, running, playground, barbecues.
Kids room with bunk bed and ceiling fan. Master bedroom with Queen bed and ceiling fan. The third double room adjoins the new, solar-passive, bridal dressmaking studio, which has been part-sunken into the front garden. This studio also can be utilised as another bedroom or simply as a creative space.
A playroom is also part of the light living area which opens onto the deck.
The house could be described as artistic, low maintenance, a little bit hippy, a little bit old and little bit modern.
You would enjoy relaxing on the deck for all your meals in the consistently warm months from Nov-April. Drive to South Beach foreshore for breakfast or lunch and a leisurely swim in the calm, safe, clean, aquamarine Indian Ocean under the bright blue Western Australian skies - yes, it's really living. If you don't feel like getting sandy there is a playground under the Norfolk Pines. You can spend hours of the day at Little Creatures Brewery drinking crisp, famous, local beer and people watching served by young hipsters and travellers. Borrow one of their bikes and look around Fremantle. It is a heritage area which attracts tourists and locals alike with street performers, markets, pubs, ferris wheel, galleries and cafes.
If you like to cycle, run or exercise, there is a lake nearby, 6km in circumference. It has remnant bush, birdlife and shade in the heat. Great for early morning and evening use.

Renovations in progress, so some photos of rooms have not been included. Available upon request.
