About our home

HOPING TO ARRANGE A SWAP TO THE UK, IRELAND & SCOTLAND BETWEEN AUGUST & NOVEMBER 2017 - NON SIMULTANEOUS and/or points SWAPS POSSIBLE. Our Home is a comfortable family home, situated on Coral Cove Golf Course, with the Pacific Ocean close by. Neat & tidy, it's easy care, & comfortably furnished. With 3 large bedrooms - the main bedroom has an ensuite. There are 2 comfortable living areas - a family room and a more formal lounge. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances in easy reach. There are 2 covered outdoor areas, both overlooking the Golf Course. Our lawns and gardens need no attention, as they are cared for on a fortnightly basis by our gardener. The house is within 150 meters of the Pacific Ocean and some of the most sought after views on our stretch of the coastline. Barolin Rocks, which is an internationally renowned coral reef dive site, is 200 meters from our house. Also close by - approx 10 min walk or 2 mins by car is a small swimming beach and park for the children. There are beautiful walks along the cliff tops, through the golf course and to the beach, all of which are concrete pathways. Bundaberg is a major regional town of Queensland and is approx 20 mins drive. There is a bus stop just outside the house for the easy run into town for shopping and food. Bargara is about 10 mins drive and is a thriving seaside village with a great atmosphere. This part of Queensland's coast enjoys a wonderful climate with temperatures between 8c & 23c in winter and 15c & 30c in summer. There is always a cool summer breeze coming off the sea in summer & a warm winter sun for added warmth in winter. Swimming is possible in winter as the water temperature remains quite warm year round. Enjoy the local tourist attractions: Lady Musgrave Island & Lady Elliot Island, The Rum Distillery & Bond Store, Bert Hinkler Aviation Museum & Botanical Gardens, Mon Repos Turtle Rookery (November-February) to name a few. Apart from the dates shown above when we would like to travel to the UK, we are open to other travel/swap dates.
