About our home

Stay in one of Cottesloe's original colonial homesteads situated opposite the friendliest park in Perth and only 1 km stroll to one of the best beaches in Australia, and 5 min walk to the Grant St station (main Fremantle to Perth train line). Our home is a labour of love, built in 1904 with major renovations undertaken in 2014/15 - we are restoring the 1904 features but adding modern conveniences. Relax by the solar heated pool, or stroll to the beach, local shops, cafes and restaurants in Cottesloe, Swanbourne village and Claremont. Enjoy the spectacular sunset from the verandah. We have 3 double bedrooms, one with ensuite, and another large bedroom with 2 single beds. The house is on top of the hill and gets beautiful sea breezes so the reverse cycle air conditioning is rarely needed. There is a formal lounge room and dining room with beautiful federation features. Our family room and kitchen area looks out onto the back garden and solar-heated pool. There is an outdoor gas BBQ and covered pergola with seating for 10. We have bikes available.
