Newly renovated three bedroom open plan modern residence minutes from the beach
The light airy open plan living/dining/kitchen has huge sliding glass doors bringing the outside in and visa versa. The retractable canopied deck and barbecue area is wonderful for alfresco living with the wafting frangipane fragrance on warm summer evenings. As this is our family home which we open to holiday makers, you will feel at home the moment you arrive. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped, modern, functional and a pleasure for cook or chef alike. Upstairs is the television room and two bedrooms each with a double bed serviced by the main bathroom, with bath and shower; and the master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite with walk-in robe. Rest easy as they are super supportive and comfortable beds.
A boardwalk meanders through our bird attracting Australian native garden and into a little rainforest where you will find a private outdoor shower to rinse off salt and sand. Lorikeets are regular visitors looking for pieces of apple or pear. Both front and back gardens and lawns are restful spaces to chill out.
The local bus provides an excellent service to Warringah Westfield Shopping Mall and Manly so a vehicle is convenient but not particularly necessary.
We love living in this little corner of paradise and hope you can share in our joy. The location is breathtakingly beautiful and our home is family friendly, very clean, light and airy. We look forward to welcoming you.
Our beautiful part of the world is ideal for holiday makers looking for sun, surf, swimming and relaxing with the added benefit of being just minutes from the crazy buzz of Manly (and 30 minute ferry to Sydney, Harbour Bridge and Opera House). The coastal boardwalk meanders for kilometres through bushland, beaches and headlands providing endless photographic opportunities. Whales and dolphins are regular visitors and often show off right in front of the coastal boardwalk. Surfers from around the world seek out Curl Curl waves; swimmers can frolic safely under the watchful eye of members of the Australian Surf Life Savers at two patrolled beaches and ocean pools and rock platforms provide endless joy to the budding marine biologist. When you have had enough of the beach, hop on a bus down to the Manly Ferry for a world class spectacular harbour scenic tour, Wander through historic Rocks Markets and be amazed at the incredibly artistic talents of our indigenous people. Amuse the children at our Powerhouse Museum, make friends with our kangaroos and koalas at Wildlife World and Toronga Park Zoo, or swim with the sharks in our Aquarium. For a little culture you will love our Art Galleries and Opera House performances. Head down to the famous Sydney Fish Markets for a lunch time outing. We would recommend you return from the city in the evening for an awesome nightscape of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House and the harbour. There are endless possibilities to sample fresh Australian produce in local cafes and restaurants, many showcasing our ethnic diversity or why not pack a picnic hamper and explore the many beaches north to Palm Beach where the popular Home and Away television series, so popular here and in the UK, is filmed.
You will be lulled to sleep by the soft sweet sound of the surf, dreaming of the memory making moments and experiences of the day.
