Neighbourhood

Currumbin Beach is very different to most Gold Coast seaside suburbs with its village community, it’s got its own thing going on, plan to have breakfast at Currumbin Beach and see the friendly community atmosphere here.
Many of the residential homes have been built on the hillside overlooking the beach or right on Pacific Parade hugging the hillside, this gives Currumbin its unique appearance.Currumbin Beach is home to the famous Alley, where every weekend and week days the water can be filled with surfers looking for that perfect ride!
There are a number of Lookouts at Currumbin Beach, a nice addition to your beach walk; one lookout is located behind the BBQ area on Pacific Parade.Currumbin Beach as its own unique Currumbin cafe culture, with all the cafes facing the ocean offering a wide variety of coffee and cuisine. The village atmosphere is evident here, locals and tourist’s mingling for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

When evening approaches the feel changes and some cafes do a Cinderella act and change into restaurants with all the trimming you would expect. The Elephant Rock Cafe is the first to spring to mind along with the Vikings Surf Life Saving Club right on the beach, if you were any closer you would need a surfboard.
