About our home

This is a combination of the classic 1920s Jarrah cottage and the Tiny House. It can provide an excellent option for families with children who require “their own space”! The main house that has been lovingly extended to suit today’s lifestyle providing both style and comfort. Set in beautiful bushland with outstanding views and lots of local wildlife on the doorstep. Whisper quiet location. Walking distance to award winning winery. Easy access to Perth. Airport just 20 minutes drive. Train from Midland into Perth City only takes 20 minutes.
All rooms in the main house are generous in size: The main bedroom (27sqm) with full bathroom ensuite, spacious sitting room with wood burner stove (35sqm) Both rooms have sliding doors onto the decks.. There is a second double bedroom with a queen size bed. An additional separate toilet and shower are located in the laundry. A large family room (56+ sqm) with designer kitchen has stunning views of the city and a generous veranda with bbq. Garden and Swimming pool (summer only)
The Tiny House is an independent designer studio. Two storey with funky upstairs mezzanine queen size bedroom set up in the trees. It has a WC and shower, kitchenette, sitting room with tv, dvd player and iplayer/radio.
Darlington is a very sought after Hills location. Family friendly. There are a couple of cafes in the village, tennis courts, an excellent award winning winery within walking distance, and good shopping locally. Bush walks and nature abound. If you are interested in wildflowers, this is a real mecca!
There is a bus service from Darlington to Midland train station, however, it is a bit infrequent, and a car is strongly recommended.
