About our home

Our elegant spacious 190 sq m Art Deco waterfront apartment on Sydney Harbour with large balcony was completely refurbished recently. Central but in a tranquil spot on the water in Sydney's Elizabeth Bay, we are in a very lively part of the city and within very short strolls to parks, tennis courts, smart restaurants, shops, a sailing club that welcomes guests and from where you can rent sailing boats, canoes and sail boards etc all year, and swim in nearby heated and unheated saltwater swimming pools. Cinemas and Bondi beach are a short nearby bus or taxi ride away and we walk, mostly along the harbourside, to the CBD and the Opera House, through our Botanic Gardens, past our State Art Gallery. There are six theatres - fringe, musical and mainstream most within a short walk.

Because we have three adult children who live in Paris, London & Hong Kong. We tend to visit them and the grandchildren during an annual 3 month sojourn in the northern hemisphere sometime between May and August. This leaves our home available during any of that period. And occasionally at other times too. This allows us to make NON simultaneous swaps also.
