About our home

Our beautiful home was recently renovated, it is a light-filled bay-side, architecturally designed haven. We are right by the canal in Elwood where you can watch the ducks float by, just a short stroll to really great cafes and shops, and less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. Ride your bike along the esplanade to St.kilda, take the tram into the city or simply hang out in our peaceful, leafy, hip suburb. There is a great mix of young and old around here, a lovely community vibe, Elwood is it's own little world yet so close to the city. We love our home and we hope you will too :)

More about us

  1. We're a young couple with a baby boy

  2. We are both creatives/artists

  3. We know a lot about the music/theatre/art scene in Melbourne if you're keen to know things to do!

Where is it?

Buzzy restaurants
Sunflower cafe and Combi have the most amazing health food, vegetarian, raw, superfoods etc. Otherwise Turtle cafe just by us does amazing breakfasts and coffee
Cool bars
The Milton, cosy wine bar
Cozy cafés
Veruca Salt, Turtle Cafe, The Joinery
Retail therapy
There are a few beautiful boutique women's clothing stores in Elwood
Bit of culture
Check out the live music just around the corner at the Elwood Lounge
Walks in the park
Walk through St Kilda Botanical Gardens or Elsternwick park, both great although my favourite is to walk along the Elwood canal to the beach and then walk along the beach path
Spot of exercise
running along the beach esplanade and working out at the work out station just by the beach!
Day tripping
It's a 20 or so minute drive into the city or a very quick train ride from Elsternwick station, there you'll find endless art galleries, museums and fun stuff going on. Alternatively, drive 50 minutes further down the coast to the beautiful wine country of the Mornington Penninsula
