About our home

Our beautiful house was renovated in 2007. It has an open plan kitchen/lounge, with timber floors and dramatic cathedral ceiling, a large 8 seat red gum table in the center of the room. Doors open onto a BBQ area and native Australian garden in front and back with herbs and vegetables to collect. Long main bedroom with king size bed, newly built stunning teenage bedroom with king single bed and additional single sofa/bed. A small separate study on a mezzanine floor, overlooks the open plan living area and has a double futon for guests. There is a small peaceful cosy living room at the front of the house with long large sofas. There is a separate studio with a double sofa bed and en suite bathroom which is situated in the garden, with separate patio and eating area. In the summer months you will enjoy long hot evenings at the BBQ. The house is walking distance from a busy vibrant shopping street with more cafes than you'll be able to experience! Also beautiful park-lands for long walks and nearby children's playgrounds. The house is a short walk from the train which takes 15 minutes to arrive in the heart of Melbourne. A 45 minute drive will take you to the Yarra Valley vineyards, Mornington Peninsula or a little further to experience The Great Ocean Road. It is the perfect place to stay to experience all that Melbourne has to offer.
