Stunning modern architecturally designed family home AND beach cottage

Beautiful, modern family home with so many features including 15 m lap pool, 8 seater home cinema theatre, gourmet kitchen and play room for younger children. Close to Brisbane city and world class beaches of the Gold and Sunshine coast. The Gold Coast is due to host the Commonwealth Games in 2018 so the city is being showcased to the rest of the world. Hence its facilities are modern and state of the art.

Our home is now 10 years old and is built on a 1200m2 parcel of land. It has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning and a gas fire place. It is equipped with cbus electronic lighting which is easy to use. It also has an internet based music system (sonos) which can be utilised manually and by iphone in all areas of the home. The kitchen features induction and gas cooking with also a normal oven and a separate steam oven. We have also recently built a wood fired pizza oven in the backyard. The kitchen bench top also has a Zip tap which delivers boiling and cold filtered sparkling water at a touch of a button.

There is a separate bbq area with a professional gas bbq and a beer and wine fridge. In the upper deck of the house which overlooks the garden (with glimpses of the Brisbane river) is the gym that is also equipped with a pilates reformer. There are 2 sets of golf clubs (r/h sets) available for use as there are at least 5 golf clubs within a 10 - 15 minute drive from our house.

The house is conveniently located 8 klms from Brisbane city and is 3 minutes away from the world famous Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Bike riding and hiking is approximately a 10 minute drive. There is a bus stop just outside our house which has buses that leave to the city every 30 minutes.

We have a manual Golf sedan available if agreed upon for the house swap.
