About our home

Comfortable four bedroom home with deck looking onto an established garden where local cockatoos and parrots come to feed. The main bedroom is very large with ensuite shower room. Two of the other bedrooms are set up as singles, though one is a good sized double, and the fourth is set up as an office but could be another bedroom if needed. (In summary: 1 x queen, 2 x singles, double sofa bed in lounge, could set up office as another bedroom) The bathrooms and the kitchen are recently renovated. In the family bathroom is a shower over the bath, and a double vanity unit. The kitchen has a dishwasher and everything necessary for the keen cook. There's a separate utility room with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron. The lounge room has a large flat screen TV, Apple TV and a sound system, a reading nook, a couple of comfy couches, books, plenty of kids' DVDs and will seat 8 for dinner. There is a double garage and a car is available by negotiation. The house is in a pleasant tree lined street a few minutes walk from the local primary school (if you need it) and local shops are in walking distance. The bike path network is a minute away. Two adult bikes and kids' bikes are available for use. Regular buses will take you to various locations. The house is just a five minute drive to the University of Canberra and 15 minutes to the Australian National University for anyone on secondment or sabbatical. A few minutes away are two Olympic indoor heated swimming pools which also include gym facilities.
