About our home

Sept / Oct School Holidays - Australia - Open to ideas. Preferably coast or rural near coast. Int'l - Spain, Amsterdam.
Dec or Jan - Byron area, Port Stephens area, beach or rural near coast, however, open to all ideas.

Hello! Our home is a Federation brick home with a modern extension, recently renovated throughout. We have a large modern open kitchen & living space opening on to a entertaining deck, flowing on to the garden. There are two seperate living rooms, three bathrooms and three bedrooms.

The ground floor has a large open kitchen with butlers pantry and laundry. The kitchen has all modern applicances, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and everything else you would expect in a modern kitchen. The island seats four and has an adjacent dining area. The kitchen opens on three sides to our deck and rear garden creating inside / outside seamless living.

The main lounge and TV room is near the kitchen which keeps everyone in the conversation whilst the cook of the house is preparing the meal. A second TV room is located on the ground floor and can be closed off to so not everyone needs to hear the playstation / footy game or kids cartoons. the ground floor also comprises of a bedroom, bathroom with shower and a powder room and study nook.

Upstairs hosts the master bedroom, master bathroom with bath and a second bedroom. Perfect if you like to keep the kids close. We are offering 3 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 singles) however, we do have another bedroom by negotiation. The 2nd lounge area is also suitable for additional fold out bed for a short stay.

The rear garden is flat and fully enclosed - safe to contain small kids. The deck has a large barbecue and outdoor dining set up. There is a fire pit that can be used in the cooler months.

We are walking distance to Sydney Harbour with regular ferry service to Circular Quay, a 2 minute walk to express bus to the city and river and harbour parks a short stroll away. We are in a safe, family friendly location surrounded by trees, parks and the harbour foreshore a few minutes walk away.

It's a lovely area and a convenient location to explore all Sydney has to offer. Our home has happily hosted international guests and families in the past.

We have a black Labrador who can stay with you or be looked after elsewhere if preferred.

A car swap is possible.

A cleaner can be arranged for a nominal amount at the end of your stay.
