Where is it?

Glebe is a vibrant inner-west central district of Sydney with a laid-back, intellectual feel and atmospheric heritage buildings. Bookshops and galleries draw students from the University of Sydney.

Fine dining, ethnic eateries, eclectic cafes and a local pub are all close by. Medical and dental services, a chemist, newsagent, butcher, artisan bakery and famed greengrocer are within an easy walking distance as well as the Sydney Fish Market with a great deli.

A 3km walk along the Glebe Foreshore from Blackwattle Bay Park and via the Sydney Fish Market, Darling Harbour and Pyrmont Bridge has you right into the heart of the city.

A local bus to the city from the street corner provides easy access to Sydney Opera House, the Art Gallery of NSW, the State Library and Circular Quay for the not to be missed thrill of a ferry ride across the harbour to the famous Manly beach or Watsons Bay.

With the government bus network, Central train station and Circular Quay ferry services, a visit to any Sydney suburb or region of NSW is easily accessible. Share bikes are available locally, and a Share Car is parked outside of my unit.
