About our home

Not suitable for children under 5 & for those who don’t have high cleanliness standards.

Architecturally designed spread over two floors covering approx. 500 sq metres.

2 Master suites
1 st on ground floor, with king size bed, ensuite, wall mounted tv, fan & view over pool.
2nd the larger Master suite is upstairs with bifold doors that open to sea breezes. Air conditioned, ceiling fan, wall mounted tv, large en-suite with spa bath & private balcony.

3 bedrooms upstairs, comprising - Bed 3, queen bed with ocean glimpse through trees + single trundle bed, ceiling fan.
Bed 4 has queen bed with trundle, ceiling fan, floor to ceiling chalk board wall & a cupboard full of toys, games, skate boards, dress ups etc to keep an array of different aged children happy (Our grandchildren range from 10 - 18)
Bed 5 four poster queen bed with pop up trundle.
(Media Room can easily morph into another double bedroom with queen size sofa bed)

All of the downstairs living areas have huge bi-fold doors which open to let the outside in. Although the home is open, light & lets in wonderful sea breezes, it retains it's privacy.

Our informal lounge is open plan incorporating an eat in gourmet kitchen featuring Bordeaux Granite bench tops, Miele appliances, & Ice maker frig.

The Laundry is equipped with front load washing machine & drier and plenty of indoor & outdoor lines.

A bi-fold servery opens to outdoor entertaining area with bbq overlooking pool.

Between December and April there are Surf Life Savers manning the beach 250 metres from the back gate.

A short stroll to local cafes restaurants & Recreational Centre incorporating gym, heated pools & local Coles Supermarket. A short push bike ride (3 min drive) south to Cabarita Beach for supermarkets, cafes, bakery, pubs etc. North similar distance is Ritzy "Salt" which has Resorts "Mantra" & "Peppers" with many wonderful Restaurants. Drive 20 minutes inland to World Heritage acclaimed, Mt. Warning with an incredible 360 degree views from the top over the whole area.

Step out the back gate onto bike/walking paths winding their way through beautiful park-lands featuring sculptures. The Nature Reserve between our home & the beach is home to many Australian natives, wallabies & black cockatoos to name a few.

If Art is your thing, Renowned Australian Artist, Margaret Olley's Centre has recently opened at the Tweed River Art Gallery. Exhibitions are world class.

15 minutes drive north to the Queensland boarder Coolangatta and the gateway to Gold Coast or stay south of the border in The Tweed and enjoy shopping, visiting a local Brewery or hit one of the local waterways for a River Cruise, hire a kayak, paddle board, bbq boat or just snorkel. 45 mins drive to Theme Parks ~ Wet'n wild, Movieworld, Dreamworld, Seaworld & Whitewater. 15 minutes drive inland to Tropical Fruit World a must do when visiting area.

There are wonderful markets every weekend in different little coastal towns (all close proximity) selling beautiful fresh produce, crafts & wears.

15 mins Gold Coast International Airport, 1 hr 45 min Brisbane International Airport


We do not rent our home. It is purely for family & Love Home Swaps.

  1. Retired non smoking couple. Occasionally holidaying with our adult children & grandchildren or friends
